We are a social species. The stories we tell and the relationships we cultivate stimulate the process of learning. Learning itself is based on the mechanisms of memory which have been greatly elucidated by recent studies of the brain. In many ways, IPNB’s triangle of human experience that focuses on the three irreducible elements of relationships, mind, and brain offers a useful and sometimes new approach to teaching.
Helping others grow through the educational process can be illuminated with the approach of IPNB. Educators working with a spectrum of students across the lifespan can find useful perspectives and applications in this field.
